Hai Phong Party Committee’s Standing Board agrees on planning, infrastructure policies
The Hai Phong Party Committee’s Standing Board has agreed in principle to make partial adjustments to two master plans.

Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau chaired a meeting of the committee’s Standing Board on July 31.
The city Party Committee’s Standing Board heard a report from the Party Committee of the municipal People's Committee and gave its opinions on partial adjustments to the Hai Phong Master Plan through 2040, with a vision to 2050, in the areas of Hong Bang, An Duong, An Hai and Hoa Binh wards; and the General Master Plan for Thuy Nguyen New Urban Area through 2045, covering the wards of Bach Dang, Luu Kiem and Hoa Binh.

Secretary of the city Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau concluded that the committee’s Standing Board agreed in principle to make partial adjustments to the two above-mentioned master plans.
The Party Committee of the municipal People's Committee was assigned to direct relevant agencies, units and localities to continue reviewing and finalizing the planning adjustment options, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards, alignment with the direction of adjustments to the Hai Phong Master Plan, and fulfillment of both immediate and long-term development requirements.
The city Party Committee’s Standing Board also heard and gave its opinions on the inspection and review of a proposal to use construction materials extracted from special mineral mines to supply related projects at Gia Binh International Airport.

The board then heard and gave its opinions on a draft plan for preparing activities under the 2027 Spring Meeting Program between Party secretaries of provinces and cities and the 18th Joint Working Committee Conference.
Under the draft plan, Hai Phong will host the 2027 Spring Meeting and Dialogue Program between the Party secretaries of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Tuyen Quang provinces and cities of Vietnam and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.
The city will also organize the 18th Joint Working Committee Conference under the cooperation mechanism among the localities.

The program is expected to take place in January 2027 and include various diplomatic activities, trade and investment promotion, tourism promotion, OCOP product exhibitions, cultural, sports and youth exchanges, and surveys of several key works and projects in the city.
At the meeting, members of the city Party Committee’s Standing Board basically agreed with the draft plan and offered numerous comments to further finalize its contents, program and preparations.
The board also considered and gave opinions on several matters related to organizational and personnel affairs within its authority.
