Hai Phong People's Committee Chairman receives Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls
Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Do Thanh Trung has received a courtesy call from a delegation of Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls.

Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the city People's Committee, on July 29 received a courtesy call from a delegation of Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang. The delegation visited Hai Phong to learn about the city's strengths, potential, and investment incentive policies.
Chairman Do Thanh Trung thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continued support for Hai Phong's external relations and for facilitating the delegation's working visit to the city.
He highly appreciated the contributions of Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls in strengthening coordination with Vietnam's overseas representative missions, thereby helping promote cooperation between Hai Phong and international partners.

Chairman Do Thanh Trung expressed his hope that the Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls would continue serving as bridges to introduce Hai Phong's investment environment and connect the city with businesses, associations, research institutions, universities, and local authorities in their host countries.
He also encouraged them to share international experience and emerging development trends to support Hai Phong in expanding international cooperation and attracting investment more effectively.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said that the decision to choose Hai Phong as the first destination of the delegation reflected the city's increasingly important role and position in Vietnam's international integration. She described Hai Phong as a leading example of international integration, investment attraction, and modern industrial development in Vietnam.
The working visit also enabled the Vietnamese ambassadors and honorary consuls to gain updated information on Hai Phong's potential, strengths, investment environment, and development orientation. This will help them further connect businesses, investors, and international partners, contributing to the expansion of external relations and the mobilization of resources for the city's development in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism.
