Cat Ba among most searched destinations for summer 2026
Data from Coc Coc shows that Hai Phong’s Cat Ba ranked among the most searched domestic destinations for the summer of 2026.
From May 1 to July 20, 2026, Coc Coc recorded approximately 638,000 travel-related searches. Among the top 1,000 most searched keywords, three categories of transportation, domestic destinations, and accommodations accounted for 93.8% of the total search volume.
Among domestic destinations, coastal and island locations continued to dominate. Ha Long Bay topped the list, followed by Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Quan Lan, Cat Ba (Hai Phong), and Phu Quy Island.
Data from Coc Coc's flight search feature recorded approximately 246,000 searches, up 57% compared with the same period in 2025. The fastest-growing search terms were for flights connecting major cities with domestic tourist destinations, while also reflecting growing interest in travel to Thailand and South Korea.
Notably, the Can Tho – Hai Phong route recorded the highest increase in search volume, surging by 2,800%.
