Techfest HaiPhong 2026 will serve as a platform for investment connection, technology transfer and promotion of Hai Phong's startup ecosystem.

For the business community, Techfest HaiPhong has become an annual gathering for technology.
Participating in the event for the second time, Hat Sang Che Co., Ltd. will showcase a range of technology products for the agricultural sector and the image of its high-rise emergency escape device.
Meanwhile, Khanh Linh Trading and Technology Development Co., Ltd. expects the event to provide opportunities to connect directly with FDI enterprises, major corporations and potential domestic and international partners, helping expand its business network, explore cooperation opportunities and promote sustainable business.
Sao Do Group, developer of Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, will present its vision of sustainable development, innovation in industrial planning and its ambition to build a globally competitive Vietnamese economic group at Techfest HaiPhong 2026.
According to a representative of the Hai Phong Innovation and Science-Technology Application Center, the event will bring together scientists, businesses, startups, investment funds and government agencies, helping accelerate the commercialization of research outcomes, foster science and technology enterprises, support digital transformation and enhance the competitiveness of local businesses.
Larger event with broader reach
Techfest HaiPhong 2026 will take place on August 4 – 5, 2026 at Vietnam Maritime University. The event will be held in both in-person and online formats, featuring 120 – 150 physical technology and innovation booths, together with 120 – 150 virtual ones on the HATEX.vn platform and the TechfestHaiphong.vn digital exhibition. More than 3,000 delegates are expected to attend in person, including representatives from six countries, while online participation is projected to exceed 10,000.
A highlight of this year's event will be the exhibition space themed "The Voyage of Five Tech Ports", inspired by Hai Phong's identity as Vietnam's major port city. Exhibits will be organized into five themed zones: Global Techport, National Techport, Innovation Port, Heritage Techport and Connectivity Port. The model is designed to group businesses, organizations and projects by sector, improving opportunities for investment matching, technology transfer and business cooperation.
According to the organizing committee, the event will also welcome international delegates from South Korea, China, Israel, Japan and other countries, together with investment funds and major corporations. It is expected to further strengthen Hai Phong's position on the national and international innovation map.
The exhibition booths will showcase products, technologies and innovative solutions across key sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, semiconductor technology, robotics, intelligent automation, digital transformation, the digital economy, green technology, new energy and solutions supporting sustainable development.
Le Luong Thinh, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology, said Techfest HaiPhong 2026 is expected to continue injecting fresh momentum into innovation activities, contributing to the city's goal of becoming a center for science, technology and innovation in the Northern Coastal Region, while strengthening its appeal to investors, experts and technology enterprises from Vietnam and abroad.
