Authorities in Tien Minh Commune, Hai Phong, and Dang Khoa Group JSC on July 15 broke ground on the Quang Phuc Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Project.
The project covers 49.7 hectares and has a total investment of more than VND 800 billion. It is licensed to operate for 50 years, with Dang Khoa Group JSC serving as the investor.
It is planned as a new-generation industrial cluster with a focus on modern, green and sustainable development. The project aims to attract clean industries, high-tech manufacturing, processing and manufacturing businesses, supporting industries and other environmentally friendly sectors in line with Hai Phong's socio-economic development strategy.

Local authorities have accelerated site clearance to keep the project on schedule. To date, 294 of the 297 affected households have accepted compensation and support packages worth a combined VND176.5 billion, allowing more than 48 hectares of land to be handed over to the investor.
The groundbreaking marks an important preparatory step ahead of the project's official launch, which is scheduled for Vietnam's National Day on Sept. 2.
