Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio&Television cooperate with Guangxi Daily Media Group
Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio&Television and the Guangxi Daily Media Group of China have expressed their mutual desire to strengthen cooperation.
On the afternoon of July 14, leaders of Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio&Television held a working session with a delegation from Guangxi Daily Media Group (China), led by Mr. Luo Meng, Deputy Editor-in-Chief.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio&Television.
Representatives of Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio&Television shared that, one year after its merger, the organization has gradually stabilized its operations and successfully transitioned from a decentralized management model to a centralized one. It has also been building an integrated, multi-platform newsroom while accelerating digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in producing content across its four media platforms: radio, television, print, and online news.
Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio&Television expressed its hope that, with its strengths in modern media, Guangxi Daily Media Group would share its expertise and experience to help develop a modern multimedia newsroom capable of meeting the evolving demands of journalism in the digital era.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Luo Meng, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Guangxi Daily, said he was delighted to be visiting Hai Phong for the first time.
Guangxi Daily Media Group is currently streamlining its organizational structure by integrating management, editorial operations, business, and technology into a unified model. The group is also accelerating the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the production of modern media content to meet the increasingly diverse needs of audiences.
Mr. Luo Meng expressed his hope that the two organizations would strengthen cooperation by expanding information exchange, sharing professional experience, and collaborating on journalism and media products.
The visit by the Guangxi Daily Media Group serves as an important foundation for enhancing information exchange and media cooperation between the two organizations in preparation for the Spring Meeting of the Party Secretaries of Vietnam's border provinces and the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), which Hai Phong will host in early 2027.
As part of the working visit, the Guangxi Daily Media Group delegation toured the radio and television production facilities of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio-Television to learn about its program production model.
