Hai Phong is accelerating site clearance efforts to facilitate the timely implementation of investment projects and infrastructure developments across the city.

Timely land clearance is essential to keeping construction projects on schedule.

According to the Hai Phong Department of Agriculture and Environment, during the first six months of 2026 the city cleared more than 2,040 hectares of land for infrastructure and investment projects. The site clearance process involved 21,326 households and 123 organizations, achieving more than 45% of the city's annual land clearance target for 2026 and largely ensuring the timely handover of sites for project implementation.

A total of more than VND 10.199 trillion was disbursed for compensation, support, and land clearance activities. Of this amount, VND 3.047 trillion was allocated to 129 public investment projects across 60 localities, while more than VND 7.152 trillion was disbursed for 123 non-budget-funded projects in 66 localities.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment also participated in reviewing and processing enforcement procedures for land recovery decisions involving 137 organizations and individuals associated with projects in the wards and communes of Hong Bang, Bac An Phu, Ha Tay, Vinh Bao, Quyet Thang, Duong Kinh, An Bien, Ngo Quyen, Kien An, Ke Sat, Yet Kieu, Tran Phu, Thuy Nguyen, and Gia Vien.

In the coming months, the department will continue working closely with local authorities to address obstacles and accelerate land clearance. It will also coordinate with local governments to review and update compensation and land clearance data for investment projects in the city's Integrated Operations Center (IOC) database, helping ensure progress in line with Hai Phong's economic growth scenario and public investment disbursement plan.
