Hai Phong has announced 625 new, amended and abolished administrative procedures in the first six months of 2026, as part of efforts to improve administrative efficiency and public services for citizens and businesses.

According to the Hai Phong People's Committee's June 2026 report on administrative procedure reform, the Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee issued 36 decisions during the first half of the year announcing 625 new, amended, supplemented, replaced and abolished administrative procedures.
Of the 625 procedures, 145 were newly issued, 290 were amended, supplemented or replaced, and 190 were abolished, aiming to improve administrative efficiency and facilitate administrative processes for citizens and businesses.
The updated procedures have been fully published at the city's Public Administrative Service Center, communal Public Administrative Service Centers, the National Database on Administrative Procedures, and the official websites of relevant agencies, units and local authorities.
Publishing all administrative procedures enables citizens and businesses to more easily access information and complete administrative formalities, while enhancing transparency and accountability among administrative agencies in processing applications.
Hai Phong will continue to advance administrative reform by reviewing and simplifying procedures, improving service quality, and building a modern public administration centered on citizens and businesses.
