More than VND 456 billion to build resettlement area in Do Son

A project to build a resettlement area to support site clearance in Do Son Ward and Nam Do Son Ward, Hai Phong city has a total investment of more than VND 456 billion.

The Hai Phong People’s Committee has approved the investment project to build a resettlement area to serve site clearance in Do Son Ward and Nam Do Son Ward.

The project will be implemented on 16.83 hectares and includes synchronized investment items such as land leveling; construction of roads, retaining walls and green spaces; stormwater and wastewater drainage systems, a wastewater treatment plant; water supply, firefighting system; power supply and lighting; telecommunications and a transformer station.

The total investment is more than VND 456 billion from the city budget. The project investor is the Hai Phong Project Management Board for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works.

The project aims to build a modern, integrated resettlement-area infrastructure to provide housing for households affected by landslides and to support site clearance for traffic, technical infrastructure and urban renewal projects in the area.
