Conference on opportunities and challenges for businesses accessing the Halal market
The conference on opportunities and challenges for the business community in accessing the Halal market will take place in Hai Phong on June 30.
The Vietnam-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) officially took effect on February 3, 2026, marking a new step forward in economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates, while opening up greater opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to access the UAE, the Middle East, North Africa and the global Halal market.
To make the most of these opportunities, the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the office of Inter-Agency steering committee on international economic integration, will hold the themed conference: Vietnam-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA): ‘Opportunities and challenges for the business community in Accessing the Halal market’.
The conference will take place at the Hai Phong Convention and Performance Centre anfrom 7:30 a.m. on June 30, 2026.
