Hai Phong allocated 72,227 civil-service posts
According to a decision by the Politburo, Hai Phong will be allocated 72,227 civil-service posts.
On behalf of the Politburo, Standing Secretary of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed Decision No. 185 on staffing for central Party agencies, mass-organization agencies, advisory and assistive bodies to the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, central unions, Party committees of central Party agencies, and provincial and municipal units for 2026.
Hai Phong will be allocated 72,227 civil-service posts, including 10,825 posts for officials and public servants and 61,402 posts for public employees.
On June 10, the Standing Committee of Hai Phong Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 427-CV/TU on the management and use of staffing for 2026.
From June 11 until further notice, the city temporarily suspends recruitment of officials and public employees within the political system, except for agencies and units that publicly announced recruitment needs on mass media before June 9, 2026, and public employees whose salaries are paid from service-revenue funds.
The Standing Committee also ordered a temporary halt to the transfer and reassignment of officials and public employees between party committees, agencies and units within the political system, except for public employees in education, training and health service units and those whose salaries are paid from service-revenue funds.
