99.65% of administrative procedure applications processed online

Administrative procedures in Hai Phong are becoming increasingly convenient, as online application rates remain high.

Hai Phong ranked third nationwide in citizen and business service performance in the first five months of 2026.

According to data from the city's Administrative Procedures Settlement Information System and centralized systems operated by ministries and agencies, Hai Phong received more than 197,600 administrative procedure applications in May 2026.

Of the total, about 196,900 applications were received and processed online, accounting for 99.65%.

Authorities and agencies processed more than 197,100 applications during the month, including nearly 195,000 completed on or ahead of schedule. A total of 106 applications were overdue.

The implementation of administrative procedure processing and result delivery regardless of administrative boundaries has also produced positive results.

To date, 55 communes, wards and special zones across the city have recorded applications under this model, with more than 1,200 applications processed. The figure represents an increase of more than 90% compared with the end of 2025, helping facilitate administrative procedures for residents and businesses.

From July 1, 2025 through the end of May 2026, the city received more than 2.65 million administrative procedure applications, with 99.82% processed on or ahead of schedule.

According to the index measuring services for citizens and businesses in administrative procedure processing and public service delivery (Index 766) on the National Public Service Portal, Hai Phong ranked first nationwide in 2025.

In the first five months of 2026, the city ranked third among Vietnam's 34 provinces and centrally - run cities.

In the coming period, Hai Phong will continue implementing comprehensive administrative reform measures, accelerate the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and business conditions, improve services for residents and businesses, and support the country's digital transformation efforts.
