Hai Phong looks to deepen ties with South Korean tech firms
Hai Phong is looking to learn from South Korean experience and promote cooperation and technology transfer to support the development of science and technology, the city officials said during meetings with South Korean technology firms Furiosa AI and Korea Technology and Future (KTNF).

A Hai Phong delegation led by Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee, visited and held working sessions with the two companies on June 2.

Deputy Secretary Do Thanh Trung thanked the companies for their warm reception and said Hai Phong was keen to learn from their experience and work together on technology cooperation and transfer to advance the development of science and technology.
The city would create favorable conditions and provide support for the companies when they cooperate, invest and develop production and business activities in Hai Phong.

Executives of the two companies said they saw significant potential and advantages in Hai Phong, as well as opportunities for the development of high technology and artificial intelligence. They expressed interest in exploring opportunities for investment, production and business development in the city.
Representatives of Furiosa AI and KTNF shared their experience in AI semiconductors, AI infrastructure, server systems and cybersecurity, which are among the companies' core business areas and strengths.
Furiosa AI is a South Korean AI semiconductor company, specializing in designing dedicated AI chips, AI infrastructure for data centers and high-performance AI computing platforms.
KTNF is a South Korean technology company specializing in server systems and network security equipment.
The two firms are among South Korea's leading technology companies.
