The 20th National Press Awards ceremony to be held in Hai Phong
The awarding ceremony for the 20th National Press Awards will be solemnly held in Hai Phong City to coincide with the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

On the afternoon of June 1 in Hanoi, the National Press Awards Council concluded the final judging round for the 20th National Press Awards - 2025.
In his opening remarks, Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications, Education and Mass Mobilisation, President of the Viet Nam Journalists Association, and Chairman of the Final Judging Council said that after one day of intensive and serious work, the Final Judging Council of the 20th National Press Awards — 2025 completed its full agenda and achieved the set objectives.
The council judged that The shortlisted works vividly and comprehensively reflected major political events, socio-economic development tasks, national defence, security, and foreign affairs.
Many works clearly demonstrated the spirit of innovation, creativity, and strong digital transformation in Vietnamese journalism, he said, adding that there have been large-scale journalistic works, meticulously produced, systematic, and state-of-the-art to date.
Among 177 works in the final round, the Final Judging Council discussed, assessed, and voted to select the outstanding pieces to receive awards: 12 First Prizes, 26 Second Prizes, 50 Third Prizes, and and 36 Consolation Prizes were awarded at the 20th National Press Awards - 2025.
The 20th National Press Awards ceremony for 2025 will be solemnly held in Hai Phong city on the evening of June 21, 2026, on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
