Free health check-ups provided for workers on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day
A mobile health screening program was organized in Hai Phong to mark World No Tobacco Day on May 31 and National No Tobacco Week 2026.
On May 28, Thu Cuc TCI Healthcare System, based in Hanoi, in coordination with Shints BVT Co., Ltd. in Thach Khoi Ward, organized free mobile health check-ups for nearly 100 workers.
During the program, workers received lung X-rays to screen for respiratory abnormalities, electrocardiograms to check cardiovascular function, and consultations on nutrition, respiratory health and smoking cessation. High-risk cases also received in-depth medical consultations.
In addition to medical examinations, healthcare experts from Thu Cuc TCI directly advised workers on measures to protect their health from the harmful effects of tobacco, dust and specific working environments, helping raise awareness about disease prevention and long-term healthcare.
The program aimed to raise community awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco, encourage workers to proactively care for their health and promote early disease screening. It is also one of the meaningful community activities marking Thu Cuc TCI’s 30-year journey of caring for Vietnamese people’s health.
