Hai Phong pilots the National Assembly’s shared digital platform

Hai Phong is the first locality selected to pilot the National Assembly’s shared digital platforms.

On the morning of May 15, at the City Convention and Performance Center, the National Assembly Office organized a training session on piloting the National Assembly’s shared digital platforms in Hai Phong.

Attending the session were Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council, and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office.

Hai Phong is the first locality selected to pilot the National Assembly’s shared digital platforms. Delegates were introduced to the orientation for building a digital National Assembly, the ecosystem of shared digital platforms, and the potential for deployment at local elected bodies.

The training focused on three digital platforms: the paperless meeting system (Q-Cabinet), the Digital Literacy Platform for the Digital National Assembly, and the Citizens’ Petition Management Software System.

Providing information on the digital transformation readiness of the Hai Phong People’s Council, Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council, affirmed that Hai Phong being selected as the first locality to pilot the platforms carries significant importance. He proposed that the National Assembly Office provide direction and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of the pilot program not only at the city level but also at the commune and ward levels.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council emphasized the council’s determination to accelerate digital transformation, build a unified operating system, move toward organizing online meetings, and synchronize related data systems.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung assigned tasks and outlined coordination plans for implementing the pilot shared digital platforms of the National Assembly in Hai Phong in the coming period.

He also requested that the City People’s Council continue close coordination in piloting the platforms, while wards participating in the pilot program should pay attention to equipping modern technological devices.

The National Assembly Office organizes a pilot training program on the implementation of the National Assembly’s shared digital platforms in Hai Phong City.

The deployment of these advanced platforms is expected to support many important stages of People’s Council sessions, including the use of artificial intelligence to record and classify speeches, discussions, and questioning sessions directly in the chamber, as well as compile voters’ opinions and feedback.

With the strong determination of both the National Assembly Office and the Hai Phong City People’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung expressed confidence that the pilot implementation would be highly successful and effective, paving the way for expansion to other localities nationwide.
