9 tourism sites in Hai Phong certified green tourism criteria
Green tourism represents Hai Phong City's strong commitment to building a sustainable tourism ecosystem.
The Hai Phong City People's Committee has issued Decision No. 1723/QD-UBND, recognizing tourism facilities that meet Green Tourism criteria in the locality.
Nine entities are honored this time, including: 5 high-end hotels (Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel, Nam Cuong Hai Duong Hotel, Flamingo Cat Ba, Dream Dragon Resort, Nikko Hai Phong Hotel); 1 tourism destination (Gragon Hill International Tourism Area); and 3 travel companies (Vietravel Hai Phong, Hoa Binh Travel and Ngoc Anh Group).
In today's globalization trend, developing green tourism and sustainable tourism has become a strategic direction for many countries and localities, balancing economic-social growth with resource and environmental protection, while adapting to climate change.
