On May 5, the Ministry of Health announced that the medical examination and treatment sector continues to see significant cuts in investment and business conditions. Specifically, after two review rounds in 2025–2026, the number of conditions has decreased from 920 to 307. Starting July 1, the Ministry of Health will only implement 16 out of a total of 33 administrative procedures in this sector.

In addition to cutting 298 investment and business conditions, the Government’s Resolution No. 21 also shortens the administrative procedure processing time by an additional 105 days. Starting July 1, the Ministry of Health will focus only on 10 administrative procedures that are highly specialized, complex, requiring evaluation by leading experts or involving foreign elements.

Procedures under the Ministry's authority include: issuing new operating licenses and adjusting special technique lists for private hospitals; licensing hospitals under the Ministry of Health; reviewing new methods for healthcare facilities nationwide.
