2026 Red Flamboyant Festival features renowned artists and a modern stage
Bringing together a lineup of renowned artists and a modern stage, the Red Flamboyant Festival – Hai Phong 2026 promises an explosion of emotion and excitement.

The opening program of the Red Flamboyant Festival – Hai Phong 2026, themed “Hai Phong – Convergence – Radiance,” will take place at 7:30 PM on May 8 at the Central Political–Administrative Square in the Bac Song Cam New Urban Area.
This is a key political, cultural, and tourism event marking the 71st anniversary of Hai Phong’s Liberation Day, directed by the City People’s Committee and organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year’s event holds special significance as it is not only an occasion to reflect on the city’s development journey, but also a celebration of the connection between two streams of history and culture. On one side is modern, dynamic Hai Phong; on the other is Hai Duong, a land with a long-standing cultural heritage. This convergence is shaping a new identity for the city—expanding its development space, enriching its cultural depth, and strengthening its momentum for breakthroughs.
Closely aligned with the theme “Convergence – Radiance,” the program is designed as a continuous narrative of Hai Phong’s development journey—from the accumulation of historical, cultural, and human values to its breakthroughs in the era of integration. “Convergence” represents not only the blending of cultural layers but also the meeting point of modern development resources, while “Radiance” reflects the city’s aspiration to affirm its position on the regional and international map.

The opening art program is meticulously staged in three chapters: “Hai Phong – The Epic at the Frontline of the Waves,” “The Converging Source,” and “Aspiration to Shine,” recreating a journey from historical depth and revolutionary traditions to a city undergoing dynamic transformation toward the future.
One of the highlights is the scale of the performing lineup. In addition to renowned artists such as My Tam, Trong Tan, Quoc Thien, Duong Hoang Yen, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Dang Duong, Vu Thang Loi, and Pham Thu Ha, along with the group Oplus, rapper Ram C, and saxophonist Hoang Tung, the program also mobilizes a large number of performers from various units.
Specifically, participating forces include the Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theatre, the People’s Police Academy, Regiment 50 under the Hai Phong Military Command, along with numerous dance troupes, artists, and students from art training institutions. The coordination between professional art units and armed forces will create a grand performance space, clearly reflecting the scale and nature of a major political–cultural event.
The opening night is also strongly supported by advanced technology, including a multi-layered stage system, modern LED displays, augmented reality (AR), and automated stage equipment such as lifting platforms, sliding tracks, and prop-lifting systems. The sound and lighting systems meet international standards, combined with artistic fireworks, flame effects, and smoke, promising an impressive visual experience.

The program will feature a grandstand with a capacity of around 10,000 seats, with the total number of attendees estimated at approximately 20,000 people. A large-scale system of screens and sound equipment will also be installed to serve a wider audience.
With meaningful content and well-structured investment, the opening of the Red Flamboyant Festival – Hai Phong 2026 is anticipated to make a remarkable impact, helping to promote the image of a Hai Phong that is rising strongly, converging resources, and shining in a new phase of development.
