Hai Phong to break ground on four industrial parks
Hai Phong will break ground on four industrial parks of Nam Trang Cat, Thuy Nguyen Phase 1, Hoang Dieu and Binh Giang on the occasion of the Red Flamboyant Festival 2026.

At a meeting on April 29, Pham Van Thep, head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, chaired a meeting with local authorities and project developers to review preparations ahead of the groundbreaking ceremonies, in celebration of major national holidays in April and May and the city’s annual Red Flamboyant Festival.
The four projects, located across multiple districts, are expected to expand Hai Phong’s industrial development space and create a substantial land bank ready for future investment.

Officials and investors reported progress on investment procedures, site clearance, technical infrastructure and preparations for the groundbreaking events. Most key legal procedures have been largely completed, while work is continuing on land preparation and infrastructure at sites ready for construction.
The projects are on track for groundbreaking as scheduled.

Concluding the meeting, head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority Pham Van Thep said the simultaneous groundbreaking of the four industrial parks underscores the city’s determination to accelerate key projects.
The developments are expected to expand Hai Phong’s industrial capacity, strengthen its ability to attract investment, particularly FDI and provide fresh momentum for the city to achieve its ambitious growth targets in 2026 and beyond.
