Hai Phong boosts community healthcare
With practical activities, the Hai Phong Red Cross aims for comprehensive health care for residents.

According to the plan of the Hai Phong City Red Cross, by the end of 2026, the city Red Cross will organize humanitarian medical examinations and community health care activities with practical content targeting vulnerable groups in the area.
Accordingly, programs for medical check-ups, health consultations, and free medicine distribution will be widely implemented, focusing on the poor, those in difficult circumstances, people with disabilities, Agent Orange victims, policy beneficiary families, and orphans.
Activities go beyond examinations and treatments, emphasizing disease prevention propaganda, nutrition, and environmental hygiene, contributing to raising residents’ awareness and health care skills.
The city level plans to organize at least 3 large-scale humanitarian medical programs for 1,000 people or more; grassroots levels will hold 1-2 sessions of health check-ups and care for at least 300 people per session.
Activities will be implemented safely and effectively, spreading humanitarian spirit and improving social welfare quality in the city.
