Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Festival 2026 promoted
The City Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee has called for intensified communication efforts to celebrate major holidays in April and May, especially the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Festival 2026.

On the morning of April 23, the City Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee held its April briefing conference for reporters.
The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc.
It was conducted in both in-person and online formats, connecting to commune, ward, and special zones across the country.
At the conference, delegates were updated on developments in the East Sea; tasks related to safeguarding maritime sovereignty and islands; Action Program No. 18/2026 implementing Politburo Resolution No. 80 on the development of Vietnamese culture; high school entrance enrollment for the 2026–2027 academic year; key national achievements during the 2021–2026 period; as well as the global situation, recent foreign affairs outcomes, and forecasts for the time ahead.

Regarding communication orientation, Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc, Head of the City Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, called on localities, units, and the team of reporters to focus on implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee; promoting external activities of Party and State leaders; and highlighting the country’s development achievements.
He also emphasized the need to promote communication on preparations for the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2026–2031 term; and the implementation of Politburo Conclusion No. 14/2026 on stabilizing fuel supply and prices.
In addition, he urged intensified communication to mark the 71st anniversary of Hai Phong’s Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 – May 13, 2026) and major celebrations in April and May, especially the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Festival 2026.
