Hai Phong launches green traffic program
The “Green Traffic – Safe Journey – Pioneering Spirit” program has been launched in Hai Phong, aiming to raise awareness and promote road safety culture in the community.

On April 20, at Thai Phien High School, the Hai Phong Public Security’s specialized unit, in coordination with the Traffic Police Division and Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company, launched the program.
The initiative is designed not only as a communication and education effort, but also as a demonstration of cooperation between the police and businesses in social welfare activities to ensure public safety. It aims to improve awareness and promote road safety culture, particularly among young people.

Speaking at the event, Colonel Nguyen Duc Thin, deputy director of the city’s Public Security, said traffic safety violations in the city have been recorded, including cases involving students.
In 2025, the city recorded more than 800 traffic accidents, with over 100 cases involving students, highlighting the urgent need to innovate legal education and awareness campaigns.
The program adopts a modern approach, placing learners at the center and combining theory with practice.

Content is delivered through visual materials, scenario-based videos and interactive questions, helping students better understand, retain knowledge and gradually build compliance with traffic laws.
The program is supported by Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company, which has committed to donating 10,000 standard helmets in 2026 through 24 outreach programs at schools, industrial zones and residential areas across the city.
At the launch event, 700 helmets were distributed to 10th-grade students at Thai Phien High School. Teachers, staff and students also received guidance from traffic police officers on road safety.
