Developing Do Son tourism toward high quality

Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung directed the development of Do Son tourism toward a high quality, distinctive model, ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

On the morning of April 16, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung led a working delegation to conduct an on‑site survey on state management of heritage and tourism infrastructure development in Do Son Ward.

The delegation visited several key tourism and service sites, including: Ngoc Hai fishing port, Do Son beach zone 2, the K15 wharf, and Dragon Hill Resort.

Based on the survey, representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and Do Son Ward focused on assessing the current state of tourism infrastructure, the potential to develop resort, entertainment, and leisure products, as well as environmental management and landscape preservation in the Do Son tourism area.

In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung emphasized that Do Son holds a particularly key position and has many potentials for developing coastal tourism, resort, cultural, and high‑end service offerings. However, the exploitation and organization of tourism space remain limited, infrastructure system and the environment in some areas have not yet met requirements.

The city Vice Chairman directed that Do Son tourism must develop toward high quality, ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful environment, with a clear separation between conservation and service development zones.
