Auction of mineral exploitation rights in seven areas
The People’s Committee of Hai Phong has approved the third phase of 2026 plan to auction mineral exploitation rights for seven areas.

The seven auctioned sites include: A sand mine for backfilling materials at the Lach Tray river estuary, located in Hai An and Duong Kinh wards, covering 455.15 hectares, with estimated reserves of about 22.757 million m³.
A sand mine for backfilling materials in the estuary and coastal area south of Dinh Vu, Duong Kinh Ward, covering 97.0 hectares, with reserves of approximately 4.850 million m³.
A sand mine for backfilling materials in the estuary and coastal area south of Dinh Vu, Duong Kinh Ward, covering 96.84 hectares, with reserves of about 4.842 million m³.
A sand mine for backfilling materials in the estuary and coastal area south of Dinh Vu, spanning Duong Kinh and Do Son wards, covering 96.28 hectares, with reserves of approximately 4.814 million m³.
A sand mine for backfilling materials in the estuary and coastal area south of Dinh Vu, Duong Kinh Ward, covering 98.98 hectares, with reserves of about 4.949 million m³.
A sand mine for backfilling materials in the estuary and coastal area south of Dinh Vu, Duong Kinh Ward, covering 99.30 hectares, with reserves of approximately 4.965 million m³.
A soil and rock mine for backfilling materials at Tien Noi Mountain, An Lao Commune, covering 6.65 hectares, with reserves of about 1.347 million m³.
The city’s People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead in advising and approving the bidding increments and starting prices in accordance with regulations. The plan is to be implemented in April 2026, with the auction expected to be completed in early May 2026.
