Hai Phong currently has 647 valid OCOP products, mainly in the food and handicraft sectors.
According to the Hai Phong Department of Agriculture and Environment, the city now has 647 OCOP products that remain valid. Among them, 8 are rated five‑star OCOP, 171 are four‑star OCOP, and 468 are three‑star OCOP.
These OCOP products belong to 363 entities, including 5 management boards, 69 enterprises, 80 cooperatives, 8 cooperative groups, and 201 production facilities.
An OCOP product’s validity lasts 36 months from the date of certification. To date, the city has recognized over 900 OCOP product listings. Many products are being resubmitted with updated dossiers for re‑certification. Most of Hai Phong’s OCOP products fall into the food, handicraft, ornamental plants and animals, and tourism‑site categories.
According to specialist agencies, after receiving OCOP certification, these products gain an advantage in consumption and gradually establish their position and brand on the market, thereby helping to promote local socio-economic development.
