The Hai Phong Federation of Labor is rolling out the 2026 Month of Action on occupational safety and health, with a focus on artificial intelligence and digital transformation in management and communication.

The Hai Phong Federation of Labor has issued a plan to implement occupational safety and health activities in 2026, along with measures in response to the Month of Action.
The campaign, themed “Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital era,” will run from May 1 to May 31, alongside Workers’ Month 2026.
Trade unions, agencies and enterprises across Hai Phong are expected to organize practical activities at workplaces and production sites. Efforts will focus on applying science and technology, artificial intelligence and digital tools in safety management and communication.
Authorities will also promote effective models, best practices and initiatives to improve working conditions and build a safety culture in the workplace.
Guidelines, procedures and safe working practices will be widely disseminated to support green, clean and safe workplaces and improve labor productivity.
Activities will include training sessions, workshops, competitions and health check-ups to detect occupational diseases among workers.
Supervision and inspections of workplace safety will be strengthened, along with proposals to improve working conditions and protect worker health.
Efforts will also focus on reviewing, self-inspecting and assessing occupational safety risks, while promoting preventive measures and compliance with safety regulations throughout the campaign period.
At the commune, ward and special zone levels, trade unions have been tasked with developing implementation plans for 2026, in coordination with local authorities, and organizing launch activities for the Month of Action alongside Workers’ Month.
