Phu Lien Ward has made the first compensation payments for site clearance to households whose land is being acquired for the project connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10.

Households whose land is subject to acquisition for the project in Kien Thiet, Vinh Quang, and Hoa Binh residential quarters come to receive compensation payments.

The Compensation and Site Clearance Council for the project connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10 has organized the payment of compensation and support for 129 households whose land is being acquired in the Kien Thiet, Vinh Quang, and Hoa Binh residential groups, with a total amount of about VND 39 billion.

This is the first round of payments in the process of implementing site clearance for the project. In the next phase, the ward plans to pay compensation to the remaining 14 households, with a total amount of nearly VND 3.5 billion.

The project connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10 has a total investment of more than VND 5.3 trillion and will be implemented during the 2025–2029 period using the city’s budget. The section passing through Phu Lien Ward involves land acquisition of about 28.2 hectares, including agricultural land, annual crop land, residential land, transport land, and irrigation land.

The project plays an important role in improving transport infrastructure, enhancing regional connectivity, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
