Vietnam confirms 500 deputies to 16th National Assembly
Vietnam has confirmed that 500 elected deputies to the 16th National Assembly are qualified, including 19 elected in Hai Phong.
On March 27, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed a resolution certifying the eligibility of the elected deputies.
According to the resolution, the National Election Council of Vietnam confirmed that all 500 individuals elected to the 16th National Assembly meet the legal requirements to serve as deputies.
Among them, all 19 deputies elected in Hai Phong were confirmed to be fully qualified.
Earlier, the National Election Council announced the official election results and the list of successful candidates for the 16th National Assembly for the 2026–2031 term. Of the 33 candidates running in Hai Phong, 19 were elected, winning a large share of the vote.
