Hai Phong launches team for International Olympiads and Science-Technology Competition
Hai Phong continues to affirm its leading position in education with 9 students advancing to round 2 for the national team selection for international Olympiads and 6 entries for the national science and technology competition.
On the morning of March 18, at Tran Phu Gifted High School, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training held a launching ceremony for students participating in the national team selection exams for regional and international Olympiads; and the National Science and Technology Competition for junior and secondary school and high school students in the 2025-2026 school year.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Hai Phong has 9 students selected to participate in the national team selection exams for regional and international Olympiads in mathematics, chemistry, biology, and informatics. These are top-performing students from the national excellent student competition, coming from Tran Phu Gifted High School and Nguyen Trai Gifted High School.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training's plan, round 2 of the national team selection for 2026 regional and international Olympics will take place from March 24 to 26 in Hanoi. For the National Science and Technology Competition for secondary school and high school students, the national round will be held from March 20 to 22, 2026.
The launching ceremony aims to boost the students' morale ahead of the exams, while demonstrating special attention from the education sector, family and society to talent discovering, nurturing, and development.
