Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung appointed as Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee
According to a decision by the Secretariat, Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
On the afternoon of March 16, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee held a conference to implement the Secretariat's decision on cadre work at the Hai Phong City Party Committee.
The conference was attended by member of the Party Central Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission; Member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Finance; Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee Le Tien Chau, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau, Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee, Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee; as well as members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and leaders of city departments, sectors, and units.
Speaking at the conference, Hoang Trung Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission requested that in his new position, with his ability, and experience, the newly-appointed Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee quickly grasp the situation, be proactive, creative, and bold in thinking and acting, together with the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City Party Committee, promote the strength of unity, build a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party Committee and government of Hai Phong city; and lead in building a socialist model associated with socialist people.
In his speech, the newly_ appointed deputy secretary Do Thanh Trung respectfully thanked the Party Central Committee, especially General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders for their trust in assigning him the key position. The city Party Committee Deputy Secretary pledged that in the coming time he will fully comply with the working regulations of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, uphold a high sense of responsibility, be proactive, creative, open to learning, focus on effectively fulfilling the goals, targets, and key tasks set in the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Hai Phong City Party Congress for the 2026-2030 term.
