The Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, and innovation is being strongly implemented, bringing digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and semiconductors into every aspect of life. Synchronous implementation from policy to practice helps promote economic development and improve the quality of life for the people.
Prioritizing technologies for daily life
To serve smart urban management and socio-economic development, AI is a technology prioritized for deployment by Hue City. According to Plan No. 90/KH-UBND implementing the national program on science, technology, and innovation to develop strategic technology products prioritized for immediate deployment, Hue City sets goals to master technology, design integration, and apply strategic technology products including: large language models and Vietnamese virtual assistants; edge AI cameras; autonomous mobile robots; unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

Linking up to promote science and technology development

Amid the strong development trend of AI and smart manufacturing, Da Nang University of Science and Technology collaborates with KUKA Vietnam Limited Company to inaugurate a center for training, research, and development of industrial robot and AI applications. The center is equipped with a synchronous system of devices for in-depth training and research, including various industrial robot lines and unmanned aerial vehicles. The center's operation marks an important milestone in the university's strategy for technical education development linked to innovation.
