Official list of candidates announced and publicly posted in Hai Phong

The Election Committees at all levels in Hai Phong have completed the announcement and public posting of the official list of candidates for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

The posting area for the official list and summary biographies of candidates at Polling Station No. 8, Hai An Ward (Hai Phong).

The Election Committees of communes, wards, and special zones across Hai Phong have completed the issuance of resolutions to establish and announce the official list of candidates for deputies to the People’s Council at the commune level in 718 electoral units for the 2026–2031 term.

Among 3,952 candidates, voters in Hai Phong will elect 2,375 People’s Council deputies in 113 communes, wards, and special zones for the 2026–2031 term (the Bach Long Vi special zone does not organize a People’s Council).

Localities have printed and publicly posted the official lists and summary biographies of candidates for commune-level People’s Council deputies at polling stations.

Previously, the Hai Phong City Election Committee issued a resolution to establish and announce the official list of candidates for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and for deputies to the People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term by electoral unit. The Committee printed the lists and summary biographies of candidates and distributed them to Election Teams for public posting at polling stations.

By March 1, Tu Minh Ward had completed the organization of voter meetings for commune-level People’s Council candidates to conduct their election campaigning.

Following the announcement and public posting of the official candidate lists, candidates have been meeting with voters to campaign. These meetings must conclude 24 hours before voting begins (before 7:00 a.m. on March 14).

For candidates running for the 16th National Assembly and the City People’s Council, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and the City People’s Committee have issued notices and plans to organize voter meetings in localities. These meetings are being conducted both in person and online.
