Hai Phong gears up for March 15 election
Hai Phong City Election Commission has held a training session on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term for thousands of delegates.
On the morning of February 28, Hai Phong City Election Commission held a training session on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031. The conference was connected online with 114 communes, wards, and special zones sites throughout the city.
At the training session, Hai Phong Department of Home Affairs leader discussed and guided key election-day procedures. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism leader covered decorations, directed propaganda for election-day, and setup polling stations and voting rooms. Representatives from the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission provided guidance on election work.
In his speech, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Dao Trong Duc highly appreciated all efforts of the Department of the Home Affairs along with agencies, units, and localities in preparations for the 16th NA and 2026-2031 local council elections.
The City People's Council Standing Vice Chairman expressed confidence that with tradition of unity, dynamism, creativity, and experience from successful previous elections, Hai Phong will carry out 16th National Assembly and 2026-2031 local council elections with optimal results.
