Over VND 45 billion to be used for restoring Con Son Stream
The Con Son Stream renovation and restoration project ensures technical standards, aesthetics, and harmony with the landscape and space of the Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site, contributing to enhancing heritage value.
On the morning of February 23, Haiphong People’s Committee Chairman Le Ngoc Chau chaired an inspection of the Con Son Stream renovation and restoration project at the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Site in Tran Hung Dao Ward.
The Con Son Stream renovation and restoration project has a total investment of over 45.4 billion VND.
After inspecting the site, Hai Phong People’s Committee Chairman Le Ngoc Chau requested the investor and construction unit to select suitable, high-quality materials for the project. The construction must ensure technical standards, aesthetics, and harmony with the landscape and space of the relic site, contributing to enhancing heritage value and creating a good impression on tourists.
The City Chairman assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently implement numbering for managing green trees in the Con Son Mountain area. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to develop explanatory content at the relics in the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Site; The Department of Construction should coordinate with Sun Group Corporation to urgently prepare a comprehensive plan for the former Chi Linh area, focusing on the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Site and historical and cultural relics in the locality linked to tourism development.
