Over 150,000 visitors flock to Haiphong's Western heritage sites

This Tet, the number of visitors to key heritage sites in the West of Haiphong surged compared to last year.

According to the Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments Management Board (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), from February 17 to the night of February 19 (Lunar January 1 to 3), major sites in western Haiphong welcomed over 154,700 visitors. These include the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relics and Landscape Complex, Thanh Mai Pagoda, Kinh Chu Cave, Nham Duong Pagoda, Cao An Phu Temple, Bia Temple, Mao Dien temple of literature, Xua Temple, and Giam Pagoda, marking an 11% increase over Tet 2025's three days.

From the Lunar January 2, all staff at the Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments Management Board strictly followed work schedules. Service vendors were required to stock goods with clear origins, ensuring quality and food safety for tourists.

The Management Board also ramped up fire prevention, ensured social order and security, and safety measures. They also promoted and guided staff and visitors on the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism.
