Hai Phong’s Cat Bi International Airport projects an average of more than 10,000 passengers per day during Tet 2026 holiday.
Cat Bi International Airport expects an average of over 10,000 passengers daily during the 2026 Lunar New Year, up about 30% from normal days.
Peak period on February 15 (Lunar December 28) and February 22 (Lunar January 6), the number of passengers is expected to exceed 12,000.
Cat Bi International Airport has collaborated with airlines to develop contingency plans for serving passengers during peak periods. Based on projected passenger volumes, the airport has arranged sufficient vehicles, equipment, and personnel to provide attentive service without any overload situations.
