Hai Phong distributes VND 240 million in aid to people with disabilities and orphans
The Hai Phong Association for the Support of the Handicapped and Orphans, in coordination with sponsors, offered Tet gifts to people in need.

From February 5 to 7, the Hai Phong Association for the Support of the Handicapped and Orphans, in coordination with local authorities and sponsors, offered Tet gifts to assist people with disabilities, orphans, and disadvantaged households across the city with total aid worth VND 240 million.

On the afternoon of February 7, the association presented 30 Tet gift packages to beneficiaries in Le Chan Ward. Each package, valued at VND 500,000, was funded by Agribank’s Dong Hai Phong branch.

Earlier, on February 5, the association, also in partnership with Agribank’s Dong Hai Phong branch, delivered Tet gifts to people with disabilities and orphans in several communes of Tien Lang, Tan Minh, Tien Minh, and Quyet Thang, as well as the Tien Lang Association of the Blind. The total funding for this distribution amounted to VND 105 million.

On February 6, the association continued its support activities by offering Tet gifts to the Hai Duong Social Protection Center, the Hai Duong Mental Health Nursing Center, and Chi Linh Leprosy Hospital, with support from the Social Charity Committee of the Hai Phong Diocese. Essential goods, including rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, seasoning, sugar, were provided, worth VND 120 million in total.
