Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation presents Tet gifts to victims of Agent Orange and the Hai Duong Social Protection and Care Center.

On January 30, the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to victims of Agent Orange and to the Hai Duong Social Protection and Care Center.
The delegation included Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Member of the City Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thoa, Member of the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture and Social Affairs and a National Assembly deputy from Hai Phong.

The Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation presented 30 gift packages to members of the Association for Victims of Agent Orange in Tan Hung Ward, Hai Duong City, and in Tran Phu and Nam Sach communes. Each package was worth VND 1 million in cash along with gifts.
The delegates inquired about the health and living conditions of the members, listened to their thoughts and aspirations, and encouraged the victims of Agent Orange to continue striving to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and enjoy a warm and joyful Tet holiday.
Earlier the same morning, the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts at the Hai Duong Social Protection and Care Center. The delegation donated VND 5 million in cash along with in-kind support to the center.
The delegates also visited and encouraged the staff and beneficiaries being cared for at the center, and called on the unit to continue overcoming difficulties and providing even better care for vulnerable groups.
