Hai Phong plans 10 industrial parks covering nearly 2,000 hectares
According to the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, studies are underway to develop and approve zoning plans for 10 industrial parks, covering a total area of about 1,903 hectares.
The 10 industrial parks currently under study for zoning plans include: Giang Bien Industrial Park, covering 188.51 hectares in Vinh Thuan Commune; An Hoa Industrial Park, covering 199 hectares in Vinh Hoa Commune; Cong Hoa 2 Industrial Park, covering 190 hectares in Tran Hung Dao and Tran Nhan Tong Communes; Tu Ky 1 Industrial Park, covering 115.8 hectares in Dai Son Commune; Binh Giang 2 Industrial Park, covering 303 hectares in Thuong Hong and Duong An Communes; Binh Giang 3 Industrial Park, covering 200 hectares in Thuong Hong and Nguyen Luong Bang Communes; Binh Giang 4 Industrial Park, covering 196 hectares in Binh Giang and Nguyen Luong Bang Communes; Binh Giang 5 Industrial Park, covering 115 hectares in Binh Giang and Ke Sat Communes; Thanh Mien 2 Industrial Park, covering 200 hectares in Hai Hung and Bac Thanh Mien Communes; Thanh Ha Industrial Park, covering 150 hectares in Ha Dong Commune.
In addition, Hai Phong City is studying the planning of six new industrial parks with a total area of approximately 1,200 hectares, including: Tam Hung – Ngu Lao Industrial Park, covering 150–170 hectares in Nam Trieu Ward; Tam Da Industrial Park, covering 150–180 hectares in Vinh Bao Commune; Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park (expanded), covering 93–113 hectares in Thien Huong Ward;
An Hung – Dai Ban Industrial Park, covering 220 hectares in Hong An Ward; Northern Cat Hai Island Industrial Park, covering 180–200 hectares in the Cat Hai Special Zone; Tran Duong – Hoa Binh Industrial Park, covering 220–230 hectares in Nguyen Binh Khiem and Vinh Am Communes.
According to the master plan, Hai Phong is oriented to develop 69 industrial parks with a total area of approximately 18,900 hectares. Of these, 37 industrial parks are planned in the eastern area, while 32 industrial parks are planned in the western area.
To date, the city has established 46 industrial parks with a total area of approximately 13,009 hectares, including 43 industrial parks established before 2026 and three new industrial parks established in early 2026.
The eastern area of the city has 26 industrial parks covering approximately 9,686 hectares, while the western area has 20 industrial parks with a total area of about 3,366 hectares.
