Accelerating execution tempo of Hanh Phuc lake flower garden project
After multiple schedule adjustments due to site clearance issues and construction conditions, the Hanh Phuc lake flower garden project in Kien An Ward is entering its final phase, aiming to finish before the 2026 Lunar New Year.

Overcoming difficulties and challenges
The Hanh Phuc lake flower garden project was approved for investment policy by the Haiphong People's Committee in 2023, covering about 2 hectares with a total investment of nearly 80 billion VND. Construction began in July 2024, coinciding with the 30th founding anniversary of former Kien An District, carrying high expectations for a modern green space serving the community. However, the project faced numerous challenges during implementation. According to the Kien An Project Management Board, the biggest obstacle was site clearance. An area of over 1,300 m² managed by Haiphong House Management and Trading One Member Limited Company falls within the project's acquisition boundary.
Despite the difficulties, the construction site buzzes with urgency in the final days of the year. Work crews are flexibly deployed, with overtime shifts added to catch up on previous delays. Phuong Hoang Construction Investment Development Consulting Joint Stock Company, the main contractor, is mobilizing maximum manpower and machinery for continuous work to complete the basic items by January 31, ensuring the project be put in use on schedule.
Finishing before Tet

For many residents, the Hanh Phuc lake flower garden is eagerly awaited as a "green space" in the urban area. The investment to renovate and expand the garden has received strong support from the community.
For local authorities, Hanh Phuc lake flower garden is not just a simple construction project but an important urban beautification work tied to residents' spiritual life.
These days, the contractor is focusing on key items such as the lake embankment, boat dock, and surrounding landscape infrastructure. As of January 17, Phase 1 of the project has completed nearly 80% of the work.
To ensure overall progress, the Kien An Project Management Board requires contractors to continue accelerating construction while strictly adhering to labor safety and quality regulations.
