The current condition of Ly Thai To road, which was built before 2010, is narrow and frequently congested during the tourist season.

On the afternoon of January 20, the People’s Committee of Do Son Ward (Hai Phong) implemented the land acquisition plan for Phase 1 of the project to expand Ly Thai To road in Zone 1 of Do Son and to develop the surrounding area.

At the conference, information on the scope of land acquisition, implementation schedule, and plans for compensation, support, and resettlement was publicly disseminated in accordance with legal regulations. In a democratic spirit, organizations and households within the project area contributed opinions and raised concerns and difficulties for the relevant authorities to review and address.

The transport infrastructure of the Do Son tourist area was invested in before 2010 and no longer meets current travel demands or the steadily increasing number of visitors. The expansion of Ly Thai To road and urban renovation of Zone 1 are expected to reduce congestion during peak seasons, enhance infrastructure capacity, and create a more modern urban appearance.
