Hai Phong commences construction on three major industrial parks

The Hai Phong People’s Committee in coordination with relevant units broke ground on three industrial parks on January 15, as part of activities to celebrate the 14th Party National Congress and to attract investment and spur the city’s socio-economic development.

On the morning of January 15, the Haiphong People's Committee in coordination with the Asia-Pacific Sustainable Green Development Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tien Lang 1 Industrial Park Project in Hung Thang Commune.

The event was attended by the Party Central Committee Member, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee and Head of the city’s National Assembly Delegation Le Tien Chau; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the People's Council and People's Committee, leaders of relevant departments, sectors, localities, partners, investors, and representatives of international organizations.

Tien Lang 1 Industrial Park spans nearly 600 hectares with a total investment exceeding VND 13 trillion. The project aligns with Hai Phong’s overall socio-economic development strategy, particularly for the city’s southern region.

Also on the morning of January 15, at Chan Hung Commune, the Hai Phong People's Committee partnered with CEO Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tien Lang Airport Industrial Park - Zone B (CEOZone Haiphong).

Tien Lang Airport Industrial Park – Zone B, covering more than 186 hectares with an investment of over VND2.79 trillion, is planned as a supporting and eco-industrial park, focusing on electronics, mechanical engineering, automobile manufacturing and assembly, and high-tech industries.

On the morning of January 15, the Hai Phong People's Committee collaborated with IDICO Vinh Quang Joint Stock Company (IDICO-IVC) to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vinh Quang Industrial Park Project (Phase 1) in Vinh Hai and Vinh Bao Communes.

The Vinh Quang Industrial Park covers over 226 hectares with an investment of more than VND3.55 trillion and is oriented toward eco-industrial development, prioritizing clean, high-tech, and low-emission industries.

Once implemented, these projects are expected to help establish a synchronized technical infrastructure system, accelerate the shift toward an industry- and service-based economic structure, create jobs for local workers, and raise incomes.
