Ready for final rehearsal of preparations for 14th Party Congress

Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stressed the need for close coordination among all units to ensure absolute security and safety for the Congress.

On the morning of January 13, at the National Convention Center (Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi), the Organizing Subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress conducted a preliminary rehearsal of preparations for the Congress. The session was chaired by Politburo member and Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

Attending the event were Party Central Committee members, including Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Head of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc; Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, along with other Central Committee members, leaders of ministries and agencies who are members of the Organizing Subcommittee, and representatives of relevant units and forces.

The Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the delegation conducted on-site inspections of the main hall where the 14th National Party Congress will take place; exhibition areas showcasing books, newspapers, and publications serving the Congress; the photo exhibition themed “Under the Party’s Flag – The Nation Enters a New Era”; functional and technical support rooms; the Press Center; the Command Center; as well as medical services and audio-visual systems.

Following the inspection, the Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat highly appreciated the efforts of all agencies and units, noting that assigned tasks had been carried out effectively and were basically completed in line with the approved plan and requirements.

Based on the master plan and with the guiding principle of ensuring absolute security and safety, he requested relevant units to continue reviewing, adjusting, and finalizing remaining tasks. These include ceremonial decoration of the main hall and entrance areas; technical connectivity at the Press Center; clear layouts and guidance for delegates to the photo exhibition “Under the Party’s Flag – The Nation Enters a New Era”; the welcoming art performance program; transportation arrangements for delegates; interpretation services; and slide presentations. He emphasized that all remaining items must be completed by the end of January 13.

Reiterating the high requirement for absolute security and safety, he urged the Party Central Committee Office and all related units to maintain close coordination in finalizing preparations, ensuring readiness for the final rehearsal of preparations for the 14th National Party Congress scheduled for the morning of January 14.

The Press Center is fully ready ahead of its opening ceremony and the international press conference on the 14th National Party Congress, scheduled on the afternoon of January 14.
