Bringing Tet to all workers
With the goal of ensuring "All workers enjoy Tet," Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City , Chairman of the City Labor Federation Nguyen Anh Tuan highlighted key innovations in caring for workers during Tet 2026.
Hai Phong City Labor Federation Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan stated that the organization is closely following directives from the City Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to deliver practical and comprehensive Tet welfare programs. These efforts provide both material and spiritual support to union members and workers, ensuring everyone celebrates a joyful, warm, safe, and healthy Lunar New Year with no one left behind. These initiatives clearly affirm the trade union's key role and responsibility in representing and protecting the legitimate, rightful interests of workers.
The city-level trade unions proactively mobilize resources effectively and strengthen coordination with Party committees, local authorities, businesses, and social organizations to expand coverage and enhance welfare quality. At the same time, Tet worker-support activities integrate with propaganda efforts to encourage union members to strictly comply with laws and workplace regulations, ensuring safe and economical celebrations. This fosters a unified, upbeat atmosphere that stabilizes labor relations and boosts production and business from the year's outset.
The City Labor Federation Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan also said that organizing Tet welfare activities as an integrated chain, linking the "Tet Reunion – Spring of gratitude to the Party" program with the Trade Union Tet Market, set for January 28 to February 8.
Expanding the Trade Union Tet Market to both eastern and western areas facilitates easier access for union members and workers to visit, go shopping and enjoy preferential policies.
Beyond material support, this year's program emphasizes spiritual enrichment and community bonding through cultural exchanges, stage performances, lucky draws, worker family honors, and free health services.
