Hai Phong adjusts routes and frequencies of several bus lines
Hai Phong city has adjusted the operation of several bus routes across the city starting in January.
Accordingly, from January 1, 2026, Bus Routes No. 01, 16B, 18B, and 22 are adjusted based on reviews of actual operations, traffic organization conditions, and passenger travel demand, contributing to traffic safety, congestion reduction, and improved efficiency of the bus system.
Specifically, Bus Route No. 01 (Vinh Niem Bus Station – Du Nghia Station) has a total length of 23.5 km, with 53 stops in the outbound direction and 49 stops on the return, operating 60 trips per day.
Bus Route No. 18B (Thuong Ly Bus Station – Duong Ao Ferry Terminal) has a length of 29 km, operating 56 trips per day.
Bus Route No. 16B (Cat Bi Airport – Pha Rung Ferry Terminal) is 35.5 km long, with 56 trips per day.
For Bus Route No. 22, the city has adjusted the route from Dang Bridge – VSIP Industrial Park to Vinh Hai Commune – Dang Bridge – VSIP Industrial Park, with a total length of 50 km, 79 stops in each direction, and a frequency of 54 trips per day.
Meanwhile, Bus Route No. 16C (Thuong Ly Bus Station – Dong Bai Ferry Terminal) remains unchanged in terms of route and number of stops, while its operating frequency has been increased to 72 trips per day.
