Hai Phong welcomes over 517,000 visitors during 2026 New Year holiday
During the four-day 2026 New Year holiday, Hai Phong welcomed and served over 517,000 tourists, including around 502,000 domestic visitors and more than 15,000 international travelers.
The tourist attractions that drew the most visitors during the 2026 New Year holiday were the Cat Ba Archipelago - a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and the Con Son – Kiep Bac Relic Site - a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the four-day New Year holiday in 2026, tourist sites, accommodation facilities, and tourism service providers, including food tours, proactively developed plans and arrangements to ensure well-organized services. Service prices were publicly posted and remained stable throughout the holiday period.
Tour operators, accommodation facilities, restaurants, and other tourism service providers complied well with legal regulations governing tourism business activities.
With its diverse and scenic natural landscapes, numerous historical and cultural relics, and the warmth and friendliness of local residents, Hai Phong left a positive impression on visitors during this holiday period.
