Hai Phong Surpasses National average in eTax Mobile Usage Rate
After a 60-day intensive campaign on promotion and support, the proportion of business households in Hai Phong using the eTax Mobile app has surpassed the national average.

According to Hai Phong City Tax Department, by the end of the campaign, 100% of business households had received information and support from tax authorities on transitioning from presumptive tax to -based tax methods. This ensures all households apply self-declaration and self-payment starting January 1, 2026.
The eTax Mobile usage rate reached 95%—higher than the national figure of 88.9%. Electronic tax payment among business households hit 90%, compared to 66% nationwide. Mean while, electronic tax declaration for those using the declaration method stood at 99.7%, nearly matching the national rate of 99%.

To achieve these results, right after the General Tax Department issued Decision Number 3352 on October 31, 2025, outlining the "60-day intensive plan" for the shift, Hai Phong City Tax quickly rolled out its implementation plan. It formed a steering committee, task forces at departmental and local tax offices.
The city tax department and local offices ran an intensive promotion campaign across mass media, the department's website, social platforms like YouTube and Facebook, and Zalo support groups.
