Art performances and fireworks ready to welcome 2026
2026 New Year art performances will take place from 10 pm on December 31 at the squares of the Hai Phong Theatre and the Xu Dong Cultural Center.
The Hai Phong Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition organized a full rehearsal of an art program to welcome 2026 at the city Theatre square on December 30 evening.
The program is elaborately staged with a tight structure, featuring a wide range of performances including singing, dancing, music and fashion shows, bringing together many professional artists, singers and performers.
Notably, the program is equipped with a modern sound and lighting system, large LED screens, 3D graphic effects, dynamic visuals and synchronized stage techniques, harmoniously combining contemporary artistic language to ensure strong visual impact and emotional resonance for the audience.
Through emotionally rich artistic segments, the program recreates the image of Hai Phong as a city at the forefront of the nation, rich in historical and cultural traditions, vibrant with youthful spring colors, spreading joy, aspiration and the spirit of integration as the port city welcomes the New Year.
Earlier, on the evening of December 29, the Xu Dong Cheo Theatre also held a full rehearsal of a 2026 New Year art program at the Xu Dong Cultural Center square.
Preparations for the New Year art programs at the two venues are being actively completed by relevant units and forces, ensuring safety and quality, and creating a distinctive cultural highlight at the moment of the New Year transition.
The art programs at both venues will conclude with fireworks displays lighting up the sky to welcome the New Year.
