Hai Phong youth carry out volunteer program in Lang Son
Youth Unions of Tu Ky, Chi Minh, Tan Ky and Lac Phuong communes in Hai Phong city have co-organized the ‘2025 winter volunteer’ program in Lang Son province.
In celebration of the success of the first Congress of the Hai Phong Youth Union, the Youth Unions of Tu Ky, Chi Minh, Tan Ky and Lac Phuong communes co-organized the “2025 winter volunteer” program in Chi Lang and Quan Son communes, Lang Son province on December 27 and 28.
The volunteer delegation donated 3,000 notebooks, 1,500 pens, 420 cartons of instant noodles, porridge and milk, 20 desks, three blackboards, 500 foam floor mats, 20 folding chairs, along with many school bags, shoes, new clothes and carefully-selected secondhand clothes.
Youth Union members also implemented two youth works, “Lighting up rural roads” and “Community electricity,” with 40 poles and solar-powered lights, and presented solar lamps to eight households without electricity in Na Lia hamlet, Quan Son commune.
The total value of the donations and works was estimated at about 410 million VND, socialized by the youth of Tu Ky, Chi Minh, Tan Ky and Lac Phuong communes. The meaningful activities helped spread the image of Hai Phong youth as dynamic, compassionate and ready to devote themselves to the community.
